"Adam's Road" Instrumental (2008)
"but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us"
“Adam’s Road Instrumental” is the band’s first instrumental album, released in 2008. Production on this album took place simultaneously with production on the band’s first album, "Adam's Road". The instrumental album was packaged and distributed with "Adam's Road" in a double-disc case.
The album features 20 original pieces, covering a wide range of sound and feel. From the exciting rush of Set Aflight to the pensive calm of The Beginning, this album truly offers musical variety. Listeners may recognize such pieces as Restoration, Risen, and The Journey from the documentary “Unveiling Grace”. These and several other pieces were used as background music throughout the film.
Featured on the somber Cold Night and throughout the rest of the album, the violin—played by Nathaniel Stone—lends a unique timbre to the music. The pieces Please Remember and The Way Home-Part 1 feature the vocal talent of Katie Warren (wife of band-member Joseph). Also, several of the pieces on the album portray through music the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
